- Google Calendar Access: To provide our services, we require your permission to access your Google Calendars. We request 'readonly' access to list your calendars and 'write' access to create events on your behalf. We only perform these actions when you explicitly authorize them within the app.
- Image Data: We process the images you upload to extract event details. These images are sent to our secure AI service for analysis and are not stored permanently on our - servers after processing is complete.
2. How We Use Your Information
Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Application to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Extract event details from the images you provide.
- Create new events in your Google Calendar as directed by you.
- Improve our Application and develop new features.
3. Google API Services User Data Policy
SnapCal's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use your data for any purpose other than providing and improving the core functionality of SnapCal as described.
4. Data Storage and Security
We use Google Firebase Firestore to store information related to the events you create, such as title, time, and location, linked to your unique user ID. We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information.
